‘BLOOD & SOIL’ By Rouvan Silogix

‘NNN’ Now Magazine

It was my absolute honour to play Martha in Rouvan Silogix’s modern-day parable, ‘Blood & Soil’ with Theatre ARTaud at TPM this past month. The cast was outstanding, and the writing hauntingly relevant to today’s political climate. I am so grateful to have had a platform to discuss the issues that are taking place in our country and around the world. Bonus - we got some great reviews! Check them out:

'SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY' opening soon at the Storefront Fringe...

For the past few weeks I have been rehearsing SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, a new play by Tabia Lau (Columbia Playwrighting '15), an LGBT adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Come join us at The Cornerstore (314 Bagot St) and watch as the results of an exciting game of beer pong determines one of two possible endings for the play.

For more information about the play and the artists, go to broadwayworld.com.

IT'S A WRAP.....

I had a great time on set with filmmaker Kire Paputts shooting his feature THE LAST PORNO SHOW as Linda, a frustrated talent agent (for actors, not porn stars!).  Kire's work has been featured at festivals such as TIFF, SXSW, VIFF, and The Edinburgh International Film Festival.  More info about his work is here

A Dream Come True!

I am so ecstatic to be on staff as an actor and teaching artist at Shakespeare In Action.  I'm currently being  challenged and surprised by an enthusiastic group of students reading "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Macbeth" for the first time.  What a pleasure to see the joy on their faces as they play with the language, discover rhythm, and express themselves through text and movement.  Can't wait to show their families what we've been working on in a few weeks!
